What is LearnBI.online?

Welcome!

My name’s Adam Finer and I created this site (more about me below).

If you’re here, it’s probably because you’re what I call, “BI curious”. You’re new to Business Intelligence and eager to find out more. You might have loads of questions. “Where do I start?”, “What skills do I need?”, “How do I work with data?”, “Do I need to know coding?”. These are some of the main questions I get asked on a regular basis.

So, I thought I’d create a place where people, like your good self, can find the answers to these questions and many, many more.

The site only went live in early January 2022 and I’m still creating and uploading my existing content so don’t forget to check back regularly and subscribe to our mailing list so you don’t miss anything.

LearnBI.online brings all of my existing content (videos, articles, courses) etc, together in one place. Where I have more control about how everything is presented and collated. And where I can cross reference and group common content. Making it easier for you to find exactly what you’re looking for and then dive deeper into related articles and topics.

I have been been working with data for over 25 years (I know, I don’t look old enough!). Starting off in market research, I’ve been a Business Intelligence (BI) professional for the past 10 years. During my career, I’ve worked on projects for, and trained staff at, some of the biggest companies in the world.

I now run Vitamin BI, a Business Intelligence consultancy based in the south of France.

I've witnessed the popularity and deployment of Business Intelligence (BI) grow exponentially over recent years while working as a consultant in the field. It’s my belief that every business, no matter what their size or budget, should be harnessing the power of Business Intelligence to monitor and improve performance.

Other than data and BI, one of my main passions is teaching. This is why I started my YouTube channel (previously called Vitamin BI), to share my knowledge and teach what I know. And it’s now why I decided to build LearnBI.online. I hope you enjoy it!

Here at LearnBI.online, I’m trying to build a community where people can not only learn but also share knowledge with others.
